The word beast arouses dread and anxiety. Renata Pawlik-Kiebdój's Bestiary neither disgusts nor haunts, rather it arouses curiosity...

In Renata Pawlik-Kiebdój's compositions there is a predatory sensuality and beauty. The artist introduces us to the world of her imagination and her imagination of woman. Pawlik-Kiebdój carefully observes women, attentively watches them. With a little bit of mischief and sarcasm she creates female forms: ordinary, licentious, proud, sensitive women... She recreates their gestures and behaviour, and writes her personal and extremely original bestiary of women.

Renata Pawlik – Kiebdój

Graduated from the T. Kantor National School of Fine Arts in Dąbrowa Górnicza, specialisation: designing stained glass, 1995.
Graduated from the Department of Ceramics and Glass at the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, 2000.

Educational scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and the Arts, 1996-2000.

Has participated in 10 solo exhibitions and over 20 group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.

She lives and works in Dąbrowa Górnicza, where she runs a restaurant with her husband, combined with a club and art gallery.
