Jens Gussek

Graduated from the Painting and Graphics Faculty, Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle, Halle, Germany, 1992. Assistant Professor there, 1994–2000, and University Teacher, 2003–2011. Professor at the Glass Department, Koblenz University of Applied Science, Koblenz, Germany since 2011.

He has been granted several scholarships, including: the Scholarship of Saxony-Anhalt, 1994, 2009; DAAD, USA, 1996; Fellowship Glass Center of America, Wheaton Village, USA, 2004; Fellowship Kohler Arts Center, Sheboygan, USA, 2006. He has been awarded Otto-Waldrich-Prize, Coburger Glaspreis, Coburg, Germany, 2006.

He has participated in 17 individual exhibitions in Germany, Austria, France and the Netherlands, and in more than 40 group exhibitions in Germany, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Demark, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and the USA.

His works are exhibited in museums in Europe and the USA, including: the Grassi Museum
