Seminar featuring the participation of artists taking part in the “UFO Unique–Form–Object” Exhibition

E. Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, ul. Traugutta 19/21 – 16.10.2013, 10 am – 2.30 pm


The following gave presentations of their own artwork:
Milan Vobruba, Pilar Aldana-Mendez, Ed van Dijk, Marta Gibiete, Jens Gussek, Ekrem Kula, Jiří Šuhájek, Vesa Varrela and Agnieszka Leśniak-Banasiak.

Valmantas Gutauskas, a glass artist from Lithuania, who lectures at the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts – Kaunas Art Faculty, Glass Department, Kaunas, presented the accomplishments of students from this department. Two guests from Luxembourg, Robert Emeringer and Zaiga Baiza, presented film documentation from the Asselborn International Glass Festival 2011 and shared information about their plans for the next festival.  

 

All the seminar participants, including employees and students of the Glass and Ceramics Department of the Academy of Fine Art and Design, had a unique chance to meet and have an informal chat with such big glass names as Jiri Suhajek, Vesa Varrela, Jens Gusek or Edward Leibovitz.

 

After the seminar, which lasted over 4 hours, there was a chance to meet and dine with the Academy’s
management staff.
