Seminar featuring the participation of artists taking part in the ”Fun, Joke, Surprise” Exhibition

Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, ul. Traugutta 19/21

The Play with Glass - European Glass Festival in Wrocław is the first time European art glass and the works of distinguished glass artists have been presented in Poland.

During the first edition of the festival, an international seminar devoted to art glass took place for the first time in Poland, involving those who had participated in the festival’s main exhibition, Fun Joke Surprise, as well as invited guests: Andriy Bokotey – Ukraine; Rob Emeringer i Zaiga Baiza – creators and organisers of the International Glass Festival in Asselborn. Luxembourg; Vladimir Klein – Czech Republic; František Janák – Czech Republic; Patrik Illo – Slovakia; Kazushi Nakada– Finland; Remigijus Kriukas – Lithuania; Patrycja Dubiel – Poland; Péter Borkovics – Hungary. They gave lectures combined with slide shows.

The public also viewed multimedia presentations prepared by Lachezar Dochev from Bulgaria and Matthew Duran from Great Britain, both of whom were unable to participate personally in the seminar.

The multimedia lectures on glass prepared by those participating in the seminar sparked huge interest in the guests.
The lecture hall of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław was bursting at the seams.
